We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our Crew Management System Replacement Program team. The successful candidate will bring extensive experience in supporting technical implementation projects across various integrated systems. Working closely with stakeholders, the candidate will help develop effective solutions. This role demands strong analytical abilities, a deep understanding of business processes, and a proven history of delivering technology-driven solutions that enhance data workflows and reporting functions.
Key Responsibilities
Determine project scope and objectives from Program Manager and Sponsor
Gather and evaluate needs from subject matter experts to understand current state and develop future state; collecting, discussing, understanding, documenting requirements
Map existing processes and develop and map new processes
Supports the Project Manager in the development of project plans, monitor progress, manage risks & issues, prepare project documentation and summary reports as needed on a regular basis
Lead calls with business, technology, and other stakeholder teams to effectively deliver on project outcomes
Collaborate with all stakeholders to identify and clear bottlenecks as needed
Translates assumptions, risks, and business requirements into technical design; create technical and process documentation
Works with agile development teams to deliver working solutions
Supports application/systems testing, upgrades, performance, and other operational needs
Support other ad-hoc requests, as required to assist with delivery (hands-on role)
Other duties as assigned
Experience and Qualifications
Minimum of three years' experience in a Business Analyst role managing technology projects and driving change management.
IIBA or CAPM certification would be considered an asset
Previous Airline experience would be considered an asset
Demonstrated ability to facilitate requirements gathering workshops and collaboration with business stakeholders, both in person and remote
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively
Excellent requirements gathering skills, ability to capture business processes using both existing process documentation and process walkthroughs with the staff performing the process
Proven ability to solve problems creatively and thinking out-of-the box.
Experience managing stakeholder expectations and handling competing priorities.
Self-starter and can manage own activities to get the desired result.
Strong computer literacy including effective working skills of Microsoft Visio, Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Project
Demonstrated knowledge of Waterfall and Agile methodologies
Experience working in an Agile development environment
Knowledge and interest in computer systems and the latest technologies.
