The Business Analyst will be responsible to work collaboratively to identify business problems and needs to translate into requirements that support business driven solutions. You will approach all situations through the application of business analysis methodologies with a business analysis approach in order to drive and support the best result for the organization.

Your Mission
Work collaboratively with the program/project managers and change managers
Plan and execute a business analysis approach suitable to the project and the project environment to ensure clarity and understanding of business problems and needs
Translate business needs into requirements and goals that support the development of high value solutions
Identify stakeholders, develop personas, empathy maps, and analyze them
Conduct user needs analysis and develop use cases
Prepare for and conduct functional and non-functional requirements elicitation, document and confirm results
Prioritize, organize requirements, verify and validate requirements, manage changes to requirements
Develop contextual, conceptual, and logical models as required
Define assumptions and constraints and manage them
Develop process maps, workflows, SOPs, business rules
Conduct fit-gap analysis when acquiring 3rd party solutions
Facilitate to determine solution scope, manage requirements traceability and maintain requirements for re-use
Define business needs, assess capability gaps, determine solution approach
Assess change gaps, capability gaps, readiness for change during requirement elicitation
Develop estimates, define and develop cost/benefit business cases and measures of success
Support test case development and ensure that solution designs match requirements
What You Bring to the Table
Education:
Bachelor's degree, or an equivalent combination of experience and education) in business administration, engineering, science, information technology, or a related field is required
Experience:
Minimum of 5 to 7 years experience as a business analyst
Skills:
IIBA, or other similar, certification is an asset
Analytical thinking
Written and verbal communication, including technical writing skills
Ability to conduct cost/benefit analysis
Business case development
Ability to work independently and with others
Experience in working with vendors, solution partners, System Integrators is an asset
English proficiency is required for this position to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
Bilingualism (French and English) may be required depending on the specific role, location, and the needs of the organization
Compensation:
At BioScript, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package and is determined within a range. Our pay ranges are based on the local cost of labor benchmarks for each specific role, level, and geographic location.
