We're currently seeking a Business Analyst to join our team on a full-time basis, for an 18-month term located in Regina, SK. As a member of the business solutions team, the Business Analyst will focus on business process improvements, stakeholder collaboration, and project management. You will lead business analysis activities, gathering and validating requirements through interviews, workshops, and process modeling. By conducting gap analyses and identifying solutions, you will help streamline processes and drive efficiencies. Additionally, you will manage small to medium-sized projects, developing plans, budgets, risk assessments, and stakeholder communications. How will you spend your time?

• You'll conduct interviews and perform analysis to gather requirements via workshops, questionnaires, surveys and various other elicitation techniques.
• Perform gap analysis, document challenges and advise on potential solutions and recommendations for future processes, procedures and services.
• Participate in researching, evaluating, and implementing service provider and software or product solutions.
• Develop, implement and monitor project plans, including but not limited to; scope, budget, schedule, and responsibilities to accomplish project goals and objectives.
• Determine and manage stakeholder expectations through the effective development and communication of project deliverables.
• Participate in project scoping activities for strategic planning, which includes building out detailed work break down structures.

What expertise will you bring?

• You'll have a post-secondary degree in computer science, software engineering, business or related field.
• A minimum of five (5) or more years of experience in a relevant role. A combination of education, training and experience will be considered.
• A Certified Business Analysis Profession (CBAP) and/or PMP designation is considered an asset.
• Previous experience with business analysis and project management techniques and tools.
• Knowledge of systems analysis methodologies and best practices.
• Knowledge of system development life cycle, technique and tools.
• Proficient in Microsoft office applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio.
• Proficiency in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

What is the pay?

$71,496 - $89,370 annually (based on qualifications and skills).
