Your opportunity:

Reporting to the Director, Information and Learning Technology, this new role will be on the front line for new project evaluation, intake, execution and implementation working with a range of clients and subject matter experts. You will collaborate on the review and analysis of current processes. The incumbent will be responsible for the research, cost estimates, launch, training, support, security and maintenance of core operational systems and business processes, both cloud, and on-premises. You will be the critical link translating user and project business needs into technical solutions and services.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and overseeing the implementation of new and/or revised business processes
  • Analyzing service delivery and/or internal processes and recommending improvements
  • Advising on the creation of efficiencies for business processes and productivity
  • Tracking and collecting information on project progress
  • Analyzing and preparing documents required for each project or product
  • Researching, analyzing and recommending potential changes to system features
  • Testing business applications to ensure reliability
  • Maintaining vendor contracts
Essential Qualifications:
  • Bachelor\'s Degree in Business or Information Technology related field, or acceptable combination of equivalent experience.
  • Minimum four years of business analyst experience, analyzing needs, researching, planning and overseeing the implementation of business process improvements
  • Experience training users on new processes including drafting and editing training content and facilitating training sessions
  • Experience writing technical and complex specifications based on system requirements and writing documents for non-technical users
  • Experience conducting Threat Risk Assessment and Privacy risk assessments
  • Experience with project management
  • Experience liaising with vendors to coordinate service and resolve issues and maintaining vendor contracts
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, project management and time management skills
  • Ability to deal with faculty, students and professional colleagues in a tactful, professional and diplomatic manner
  • Demonstrated interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills to interact and communicate effectively with various stakeholders
  • Strong knowledge of MS products, including MS Dynamics
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to deal with competing demands in a busy environment
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft programs (Outlook, Word, Access, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Superior organizational, interpersonal and time management skills
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills
