Job Title: Technical Business Analyst / Product ManagerJob Location: Montreal, QC (hybrid 3 days onsite in a week)Job Duration: Full Time Responsibilities:Document business and functional requirements, including workflow, business rules, and use casesCatalog datasets and maintain data dictionary, using firm systems, including Collibra.Setup, manage and support data quality controls for dataset, using Collibra-owl and other available systems.Maintain and optimize data quality scores, identify causes of score degradation, and work with data owners and technology teams to remediate any DQ issues.Assist data consumers and downstream system teams with any questions related to supported datasetsCreate documents that outlines the data lineage and a framework for data governanceBecome a subject matter expert for compliance date.Work with developers to define/document existing application infrastructure and architectureAssist with QA / Testing to review / refine test plans and more detailed test cases.Work with the project and business team to identify and resolve issues that arise during projects as part of day-to-day business operations.Build develop and grow relationship with IT and business areas vital to the success of the projectManage / monitor data issues and perform impact assessments to identify critical processesPerform root cause analysis and work with business and IT partners to resolve data issues that result from control breaksUnderstand the agile framework (working in Scrum / Kanban / Scrumban model); be able to work closely with the development and QA teams in building, developing, and executing requirements Requirements:5-7 years of experience in large complex banking organizations or major consulting organizations acting in a data analysis or business analysis roleCompetent and proficient understanding of general technology environments (platform, organizational structure and culture, teams involved in the successful completion of technology initiatives, etc.)Strong analytical skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational environmentsExcellent database / SQL skills; much of the work focused on databases.Good communication, teamwork, and influencing skills; ability to communicate effectively with technology and key business representatives.Self-motivated and can work independently as well as in a team environment.Experienced in Agile Scrum and Kanban lifecyclesAble to multitask across number of projects
