Location - Toronto (hybrid )
Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and driven Business Analyst with a solid background in the pharmacy domain to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in

Pharmacy

Management Systems such as Kroll PMS, Pharmacy Mobile Apps, IVR eFax, and Over-The-Counter (OTC) solutions. This role requires exceptional technical knowledge, experience working across multiple projects, and collaborative skills to engage with various stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Requirements Gathering & Analysis:

Collaborate with internal stakeholders, pharmacists, and pharmacy teams to gather and document business requirements across diverse pharmacy-related systems and workflows.

Conduct gap analysis and recommend enhancements to system features based on business and end-user needs.

Translate business requirements into detailed functional and non-functional specifications for development teams.

2. Technical & Domain Expertise:

Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Pharmacy Management Systems like Kroll PMS, Pharmacy Mobile Apps, IVR eFax, and OTC workflows.

Work on SSPs (Solution Security Plans) and maintain technical documentation that guides end-to-end project development.

Troubleshoot, analyze, and support technical issues related to pharmacy systems and suggest actionable solutions.

3. Stakeholder Collaboration:

Partner with various stakeholders, including pharmacy managers, IT development teams, QA teams, project managers, and external vendors, to drive project success.

Act as a liaison between business teams and technical teams to facilitate clear and concise communication.

Align stakeholder needs with business goals while ensuring technical feasibility and project timelines.

4. Project Management:

Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deliverables are met on time and align with business priorities.

Work within Agile or Waterfall methodologies to coordinate sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release schedules.

Track project progress against key milestones and report updates to stakeholders consistently.

5. Solution Design and Implementation:

Identify and design optimized pharmacy workflows and integrations for systems like pharmacy mobile apps, IVR eFax, and OTC automation.

Ensure software solutions deliver seamless customer experiences and meet compliance standards applicable to the pharmacy industry.

Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by preparing test cases, scenarios, scripts, and monitoring outcomes.

6. Continuous Improvement & Innovation:

Research market trends in pharmacy technology to identify modern solutions that improve efficiency, data accuracy, and customer satisfaction.

Proactively recommend strategic initiatives to enhance system functionality and operational excellence within pharmacy operations.

Qualifications and Skills Required:

Education: Bachelor's degree in business administration, Computer Science, Pharmacy, or a related field.

Experience:

o 6+ years of professional experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in the pharmacy or healthcare sector.

o Proven expertise in working with systems like Kroll Pharmacy Management Software, IVR eFax, and Pharmacy Mobile Apps.



Technical Skills:

o Strong understanding of Pharmacy Management Systems and integrations.

o Familiarity with scripting and data analysis to support SSP creation.

o Knowledge of OTC processes and infrastructure.

Analytical Skills:

o Exceptional ability to analyze complex workflows and propose effective solutions.

o Experience creating business requirements, process flows, and functional design documentation.

Soft Skills:

o Excellent communication, interpersonal, and facilitation skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.

o Strong organizational and multitasking skills to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Project Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall project management methodologies is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

Familiarity with pharmacy compliance regulations and standards.

Experience working with eRx (electronic prescribing systems).

Previous experience integrating pharmacy systems with third-party solutions.
