The successful candidate will complement the Company\xe2\x80\x99s contingent of staff and contract resources in BTS. The candidates\xe2\x80\x99 primary assignment is to provide business analysis support to the Cybersecurity & IT Resiliency Program, aimed at increasing Cybersecurity and IT resiliency across the enterprise. The Company is transforming to support further innovation and growth. The Company is concerned about the speed and frequency of cyber-attacks, and the effects those attacks are having on the organization and its operational capabilities. As part of digital transformation, the Company wants to modernize its approach to cybersecurity and transform securely. The Company has updated its cybersecurity vision and strategy. A transformation plan and roadmap of improvement initiatives has been developed. The BA will work with stakeholders from various teams across the Company to perform the services and complete the assigned deliverables summarized below.What you will be doing:
Working closely with the program team and stakeholders, the candidates will provide end-to-end business analysis services for this project. Duties will include all aspects of business analysis including but not limited to the following:Analyze and capture where resource time is spent as a foundation for understanding the impacts from the changes that will be implemented over the course of the Cyber Security & IT Resiliency (CSITR) Program, which will include a categorization of time by role against different types of activities, e.g., break fix service requests, project work, etc.Lead discussions with key stakeholders to fully understand and document the objectives and expected outcomes for the assignment.Identify opportunities for resource allocation based on automation and efficiencies to be gained as projects are delivered.Work with the Program Manager to develop the approach as well as detailed work plans to achieve the agreed objectives and outcomes.Review existing documentation and meet with team managers to understand and document each team\xe2\x80\x99s roles and responsibilities with respect to the types of IT services provided.Analyze data from work tracking systems and tools to determine services related work categories and associated volumes.Working with the program team Project Managers and Business Analysts, develop forecasts of impacts to work volumes for each of the cybersecurity and IT resiliency projects.Develop time-based visual summaries of the overall program impact on IT services work performed by the various BTS teams.Evaluate risks and opportunities of the program changes on people, capacity, and resiliency for consideration by the program leaders.Prepare and present decision documentationCreate and maintain risks, issues, actions, and decisions (RAID) log for regular review with program leaders.Expected Deliverables
Key deliverables that will be created and managed include but not limited to the following:People & Capacity analysis workbook \xe2\x80\x93 Excel file that categorizes and summarizes current and future IT work volumes accounting for the net impact of the program introduced changes.Resiliency Assessment \xe2\x80\x93 Document outlining support of business and IT applications (and hours of coverage).Reallocation Opportunity \xe2\x80\x93 Documents expected efficiencies from automation and process changes and identifies reallocation options and recommendations.Use Case documents or User Stories.Current as-is and future state process diagrams or maps.Fit-gap analysis documents.RACI matrices.Decision Analysis and Supporting documents.Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).Operations and / or user guides.End User Training materials.Meeting agendas, minutes, and action itemsProgram status reportsWhat you must have:
To be considered for this position, the candidates must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:Must have 5+ years of experience in an IT people and capacity planning role.Must have 3+ year experience working in public sector & unionized organizations.Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree with relevant business experience and training.Previous experience conducting similar analysis in a public sector IT environment.Excellence data analysis and interviewing skills.Ability to work independently across multiple IT departments and teams.Ability to gather, analyze, and consolidate information from a variety of sources (i.e., documents, interviews, workshops, etc.).Strong analytical, communication, and writing skills.Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.Demonstrated accuracy and attention to detail working in a fast-paced environment.For more information about TEEMA and to consider other career opportunities, please visit our website at
