We are currently seeking a Business Analyst to join our team in Ottawa, Ontario (CA-ON), Canada (CA).

Why the Role Is Important:

In this role, the Business Analyst is critical to the process that drives the end-to-end definition business requirements related to a new or existing event or process. This may include redesigning existing processes that supports continuous improvements in service, support, and performance measures. Finally, your guidance will help less experienced developers grow in their development skills resulting in an overall better team.

Once You Are Here, You Will:

  • Analyze, evaluate, develop end to end business processes
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and streambusiness processes to create efficiencies
  • Identify and evaluate critical success parameters, factors, and performance measurements
  • Assist other stakeholders in development and implementation of business improvement processes and programs
  • Create presentations and present to various stakeholders and facilitate meetings and discussions
  • Collect, analyze, and synthesize information that provides insight into best practice and lessons learned that would effectively support managing change
  • Coach, mentor, work collaboratively and train the organization to perform any of the above

Required Qualifications:
  • Government of Canada Reliability/Secret Security Clearance in process or completed
  • 5+ years experience collaborating with stakeholders and training teams to create ITIL-based process documentation,training contentand conductknowledge transfer to operationalize business processes
  • Hold a valid ITIL v3 foundations or any v4 certifications
  • 5+ years experience working with Agile project management and ITSM tools
  • 5+ years working with the Federal or Provincial Canadian Government Department/Agency
  • 5+ years utilizing GC docs
  • Experience using JIRA and BMC tools
  • Bachelor\'s degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience
