Position: Business Analyst

Location

: Toronto Downtown, Ontario (Must be eligible to work in Canada)

Work Setting:

Hybrid (2 Days Onsite / 3 Days Remote)

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to gather, analyze, and document requirements for digital banking initiatives. Translate business needs into detailed functional requirements, user stories, and process flows. Support the design and implementation of online banking, mobile banking, payments, and customer-facing digital channels. Conduct gap analysis and "as-is/to-be" process mapping for banking workflows. Participate in Agile ceremonies (backlog refinement, sprint planning, demos, retrospectives). Work with QA and UAT teams to define acceptance criteria, create test scenarios, and support testing activities. Provide insights on best practices and trends in

digital banking, payments, and customer experience

. Act as a liaison between business units and IT to ensure alignment of project goals.

Qualifications & Skills

7+ years

of hands-on experience as a Business Analyst. Strong experience in

digital banking domain

(online banking, mobile apps, payments, customer onboarding, etc.). Knowledge of core banking systems, channels, and customer journeys. Proficiency in requirements gathering, documentation (BRD, FRD, user stories), and process modeling. Experience working in

Agile/Scrum

environments. Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills. Advanced skills in tools such as

Jira, Confluence, MS Visio, PowerPoint, Excel

. Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Finance, or related field (Master's or MBA an asset).
