Duties and Responsibilities

Reporting to the Manager, Business Services and Process Solutions in Finance Division, the successful candidate will:

• Analyze project requirements and assist in developing action plans
• Coordinate tasks with other business process changes, projects and/or initiatives
• Review submissions from various stakeholders for accuracy and completeness and do follow-up
• Participate in various project meetings with stakeholders and prepare minutes
• Liaise with various internal and external stakeholders
• Conduct research and benchmarking to support various projects
• Validate documentation received throughout the project from various stakeholders
• Prepare process diagrams, reports and other forms of documentation
• Organize meetings and ensure that all key stakeholders are involved
• Identify and analyze areas for improvement
• Support the Project Leads in various project related tasks, activities and deliverables
• Assist in developing and documenting standard operating policies (SOPs)
• Perform other duties as assigned

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Business or a related field is required
• Preference to be given to those with Business Analysis and/or Project Management certifications (ex. CBAP, PBA, PMP).
• 5+ years experience in a similar role is preferred
• Demonstrated analytical, organizational, negotiation, teamwork, collaboration, presentation, report writing, and customer service skills
• Strong verbal and written communication, leadership skills are required, as are excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
• Exceptional business analysis with an emphasis on customer service and ability to work with a diverse group of stakeholders and senior level management is required
• Demonstrated presentation and facilitation skills with the ability to deliver training to operational staff related to business operational initiatives, processes and applications would be an asset.
• Proven ability to handle data collection and analysis skills together with an ability to use process modelling and analytics tools (e.g., Visio, Excel).
