The successful candidate could be allowed to work from a remote work location in Canada upon approval from the evaluation committee.

Requirement Detail/Qualification:

General Duties:

Support the software development team.

Work with both client and development team members to elicit requirements, write user stories, define goals, document requirements, and analyze business functions to become familiar with the business domain.

Identify business work flows and determine stakeholder needs.

Author test case specifications, requirements traceability documentation, and contribute to the compilation and execution of test plans.

Support and contribute to the Agile practices adopted by the development team.

Deliverable Details:

As a Senior Business Analyst, the successful candidate(s) will be responsible for:

Converting the existing loans data from several legacy loans systems to the Housing New Brunswick (HNB) COTS solution through the use of dataloaders supplied by the vendor.

Working with the HNB Loans Project Team, multiple government departments, and the external vendor to produce the interface specifications for communication between the HNB COTS solution and several external systems such as Oracle Financials/Fusion, financial institutions, and other government departments/corporations.

Leading facilitated sessions to gather content, document and obtain consensus for the remaining configuration and technical specifications required as it relates to conversion and interfaces.

Identifying risks, issues and conflicts originating from business change requirements.

Maintaining a working knowledge of HNB COTS solution.

Working with the Quality Assurance Team(s) to ensure testing of the data conversion and interfaces is successful.

Working with the Trainer/Change Manager to ensure any training regarding the data conversion and interfaces is successful.

Collaborating with the project team to ensure project deadlines are met.

Assisting the HNB Loans Project Team with the deployment of the solution to production.

Attending project team status meetings and other working group meetings as required.

Assisting in the creation of how to documents, SOPs and other supporting documents.

Conducting other Business Analyst tasks as required.

Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 10 months

Pay: $49.06-$85.05 per hour

Expected hours: 7.25 per week
