Federated Co-operatives Limited is hiring a Business Analyst, Financial Systems (2 positions) on a permanent basis at our Home Office in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan reporting to the Manager, Financial Systems. What you\xe2\x80\x99ll do: You will be responsible for supporting, sustaining, and optimizing the JDE financial modules, as well as assisting projects that will be implementing modules in JDE or integrating with JDE.

  • JDE User Support
    • You will respond to incoming calls and tickets to effectively resolve user issues, including troubleshooting to identify root causes. You will extensively research and document user issues and resolutions, collaborate appropriately with team members, process owners, other supporting departments, and vendors
    • You will assist users to resolve system-related accounting or processing issues, which requires an understanding of both the system and general accounting processes, practices, and policies
  • JDE Enhancements
    • You will contribute to the ongoing evolution of FCL\xe2\x80\x99s financial systems by requirements gathering, testing, and training users on new functionality. This may include user needs analysis, documentation, communication, cost/benefit analysis, participation in system design, testing, and implementation
    • You will act as a key liaison for technology initiatives that impact Finance and communicate with user groups about upcoming changes, schedule, issues, decisions, etc.
  • Communication and Training
    • You will provide clear written and verbal communication to ensure users are current on system functionality including systems/version upgrades, process changes, and enhancements. You will maintain user support/reference materials to ensure they are up-to-date and contribute to the development, enhancement, and delivery of end-user training
  • Leadership and mentoring
    • You will provide leadership and mentoring to more junior members or outside vendors of the Sustainment team that are performing the day-to-day activities of monitoring the system to ensure jobs are running when expected and data integrity issues are being dealt with in a timely fashion

  • You have a bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Business/Commerce. Preference given to Accounting or Finance graduates.
  • You have a minimum of 6-9 years of relevant progressively responsible accounting or finance experience including process improvement and experience in a large ERP environment such as JD Edwards or SAP (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered)
  • Financial system support experience considered an asset
  • Professional accounting designation is preferred. Certified Information Systems Auditor or IIBA certification would be an asset.
