About the Role





Reporting to the Manager, Financial Applications, Brookfield Renewable is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Business Analyst with hands-on experience in ERP and financial applications. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys troubleshooting within the ERP and other Financial applications while supporting continuous improvement initiatives across financial systems.


Key Responsibilities




Act as the primary contact for ERP and financial applications issues escalated beyond standard support processes. Troubleshoot and resolve day-to-day system issues to support stakeholders on new requests or incidents related to Financial Applications. Collaborate with a team of Business and Systems Analysts to support and maintain ERP and financial applications through configuration, incident resolution, and features development. Analyze business processes and system workflows to identify gaps, inefficiencies, or areas for improvement. Develop hands on knowledge of the ERP and other Financial Applications to investigate issues, identify root causes, and drive resolutions. Perform impact analysis across modules and systems to ensure changes are sustainable, compliant, and aligned with business goals. Act as the liaison between Finance, Operational business units, Technical teams and Vendors. Facilitate the collection of business requirements, understand, analyze, and translate them into system requirements, configurations, and customizations. Participate in the collection and presentation of evidence to support the organization's audit cycles.

Knowledge and Experience Required




Between 3 and 5 years of professional experience as a Business Analyst, supporting ERP or financial systems. Strong knowledge of core ERP enabled business cycles, more specifically accounting, procurement and accounts payables cycles. Skilled in navigating complex, fast-paced organizational landscapes, collaborating across functions to meet urgent and shifting stakeholder requirements and priorities. Strong analytical skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements. Ability to identify problems and deal with situations and issues proactively. Demonstrate a critical and creative mindset with all new requests received from stakeholders. Excellent verbal and written communication and stakeholder management skills. Strong attention to detail with the ability to work in a conscientious, consistent, and thorough manner. Functional experience with ERP systems such as IFS, D365, SAP would be considered an asset. Finance, Accounting or related degree would be considered a strong asset.

Note: Offices continue to be central to collaboration and Brookfield's identity. This position requires the employee to be on-site for a minimum of 3 days to perform most effectively. We will reassess the approach on a as needed basis.
