As a Business Analyst, you will be part of the Analytics and Reporting team at in AutoCanada's Information Management department. What you will do

• Gather, analyze, validate, and document both business and functional requirements of stakeholders.
• Clearly identify project stakeholders and conduct interviews to gather requirements.
• Conducts impact analyses, process maps, and other analyses, as required.
• Develop and maintain high-performance data visualizations, reports, dashboards, and provide ad hoc reporting primarily using Tableau.
• Drive best practices, ensure standards and control the quality of reporting and analytics products.
• Extract data from an Azure data warehouse (SQL) into Tableau.
• Upload, schedule and put into production Tableau visualizations.
• Test and validate information products.
• Perform and document data analysis, validation, and data mapping/design.
• Communicate changes, enhancements, and modifications of business requirements to supervisor, business unit stakeholders and other stakeholders so that issues and solutions are understood.
• Manage quarterly project deliverables.

What you bring to the table

• Related post-secondary education and industry certification.
• Experience with project coordination and project management principles.
• 5 years' experience in a Business Analyst type role including a minimum of 2 years' experience developing reporting, preferably in a BI software such as Tableau.
• Working knowledge of SQL and experience querying SQL databases.
• Understanding of information systems, data collection processes and other aspects of the information lifecycle
• BI software proficiency: Dashboards, Reports, Scheduling, Publishing and Connecting to data.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written, and listening communications skills.
• Well-developed problem solving and documentation skills.
• Ability to handle multiple projects efficiently and effectively.
