About the Role:
The Business Analyst (BA) will be expected to provide services of Business Analyst. The candidate will be able to complete the requirements gathering lifecycle and outline critical information for documentation. The candidate will be performing the following activities under direction of the IT Department and ITD Planning (PMO).
Requirements:
Documents data flows, data mappings, perform data lineage analysis as required. Should have experience working with multiple systems, databases, and document the changes for data requirements with a focus on accounting related regulatory reports.
Collaborate with business partners, technical partners, and representatives from other groups to understand and evaluate their requirements regarding data, and ensure their needs are met in a timely fashion.
Requirements gathering, design methodology and building test cases - detail oriented analytical and capable of investigating complex / technical issues and provide alternative solutions
Support in creating Business Requirement Documents, Detailed Design Documents, Functional Design Documents, and other project related documents.
Assist in production of system design documents to ensure that designed functionalities, data definitions, interfaces and reports satisfy the Business Requirements Definition.
Comply with the system development life cycle (SDLC) and project management methodology (REPLC) by participating in scope assessment, risk and cost analysis.
Create detailed requirements traceability matrix to ensure all requirements defined are produced and tested.
Support in creating SIT and UAT Plans, and document detailed test cases.
Lead issue resolution activities.
Support creating, managing, and updating regular and ad hoc progress reports to managements.
Support in modifying reports on BI tool (Business Objects) and create reports on the tool chosen for the project.
Facilitate and lead meetings for the project related activities including data collection, data mapping etc.
Work closely with Program Management Office and Project Managers and report status of the activities.

Proficiency with MS Office documents
Proficiency with MS Excel, ability to use Excel to analyze data, construct
pivot tables
and produce reports
Perform other duties as required and assigned.
Qualifications:
Minimum 7+ years' experience as a Business Analyst or an operation lead role within the banking/financial industry.
Prove ability to lead transitioning services to
Cloud
Services and other infrastructure and/or software deployment initiatives.
Good interpersonal and communication skills written and verbally with multiple audiences ranging from junior to senior levels across departments.
Be able to coordinate and facilitate discussions and have experience with discovering new processes to create documentation.
Demonstrated analytical,
modeling
and problem solving skills.
Ability to execute in a working matrix environment within local, regional and global scale is highly preferred.
Experience handling large scale projects as well as day to day operational requests.
Strong project management skills, ability to multitask and build relationships.
Ability to take initiative and work independently under tight timelines.
Proficiency in MS Office suite of products; Visio, Word and Excel are a must.
Proven experience with SWIFT is considered an asset.
Exposure to corporate banking products such as
Loans, Deposits, Trade Finance and Transaction Banking
is considered an asset.
