We are headquartered in Calgary and maintain a satellite office in Houston.What You Would Do in This RoleJob SummaryAn Business Analyst contributes to business improvement by analyzing processes, gathering requirements, and collaborating with stakeholders to deliver effective solutions. Within CurrentSuite, the Business Analyst will focus on a SaaS product development lifecycle. For our Project based Business support will include corporate initiatives and support for external clients.Key Responsibilities

  • Requirements Gathering: Elicits, documents, and analyzes business requirements from stakeholders.
  • Business Process Analysis: Analyzes business processes to identify gaps and recommend improvements.
  • Solution Assessment and Validation: Evaluates proposed solutions to ensure they meet business needs and requirements.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Coordinates with stakeholders across departments to understand needs and facilitate communication.
  • Documentation: Develops detailed documentation including business requirements, process flows, user acceptance criteria, use cases, and user acceptance testing matrices.
  • Communication: Presents findings and recommendations to stakeholders clearly and effectively.
  • Technical Proficiency: Utilizes business analysis tools and software for modeling and analysis.
  • Problem-Solving: Identifies and resolves moderate business problems independently.
  • Project Coordination: Assists in project planning and coordination within the business analysis scope.
Required Qualifications and Skills
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in office software and business analysis tools. like Microsoft VisioAssets include, PowerPoint, familiarity with Excel, Powerpoint, JIRA and project management software in an agile software development space.
  • Analytical Abilities: Strong ability to analyze business processes and the underlying data structures and workflows to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Attention to Detail: Ensures accuracy in documentation and analysis.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to convey complex information to non-technical stakeholders as well asl .demonstrable verbal and written technical communication skills, public speaking ability
  • Team Collaboration: Effective collaboration with teams and contributing to group objectives.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Capable of resolving moderate business challenges independently.
  • Organizational Skills: Skilled in managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience: 2-4 years of experience in business analysis or related field.
  • Certifications: Certifications such as IIBA Certification of Capability in Business Analysis (CCBA).
  • Additional Skills:
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience with modeling techniques.
  • SaaS Product Development Experience
  • Microsoft D365 ecosystem / Teams / DevOps incl. PowerApps, PowerBI, D365 ecosystem technical proficiency and experience
  • Supply Chain Experience (complex project procurement or EPC experience is a plus)
  • Time Management, Prioritization and Organizational Skills
