Job Description

Our client in Oil and Gas industry is looking for a Business Analyst to join them on one year contract basis in Calgary, AB.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Pipeline data management and quality control - support building and maintaining of business workflow to ensure pipeline data quality. Work with other key stakeholders in optimizing processes that would ensure internal databases and Regulator managed databases are consistent and accurate.
  • Manage pipeline integrity documentation - support building of data standard for management of key documents, such as inspection reports, failure investigations, engineering assessments, risk assessments, etc.
  • Manage and develop KPI's for workflows involving multiple stakeholders that ensure data quality objectives are met.
  • Manage monthly / quarterly / annual KPI reporting.
  • Support Pipeline Integrity budget process - manage budget worksheet and interact with team members to adjust, plan, and forecast work in present year and future years.
  • Work with other key stakeholders (IS, SAP) to improve management of data by automating administrative activities.
  • Support team in SAP work order / notification process navigation, including reporting on, and communicating to stakeholders, deficiencies and non-compliance items.
  • Support integrity engineering by preparing and updating APR reports and meetings.
  • Build and maintain dashboards in GIS application for tracking of unique projects (maintain up-to-date visibility on progress of important tasks, such as CP deficiency correction, leak detection installs, etc.).
  • KPI reporting - update predetermined KPI metrics and publish a monthly report that will keep all key stakeholders informed to the health of the Integrity program.
  • Support change management activities by developing communication packages to be presented to key stakeholders.
  • Support implementation of Salesforce to SAP/LAM
  • Support implementation of SAP/LAM to FCCL.
Must Have:
  • At least 2 years of prior experience working in similar position
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and reporting skills.
  • Demonstrated relationship management skills with a variety of stakeholder groups.
  • Ability to work effectively and respectfully with a team even under stressful conditions.
  • Budgeting knowledge/experience.
  • Proficiency in SAP.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio.
  • Superb organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
Perks:
  • Monday to Friday total of 40 hours per week
  • $46.00hr to $49.00hr + 4% Vacation Pay + Eligible Statutory Holiday + Kelly Services Benefits available
