Purpose

Contributes to the overall success of the Automotive Finance in Canada ensuring specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the team\'s business strategies and objectives. Ensures all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures

Accountabilities

  • Provide assistance and support to Management of Automotive Finance department with respect to system enhancements / special projects and assignments as they arise including research of internal and external factors related to and affecting development and implementation of the proposed initiatives.
  • Responsible for managing and delivering system enahancements associated initiatives for Automotive Finance.
  • Responsible for coordinating the delivery of multiple, simultaneous project schedules, working with cross-functional teams that include both internal and external subject matter experts. Will apply project management and agile methodologies to assist the Operations and Manufacturer Partnerships teams in successfully deploying system projects and initiatives.
  • Liaise with the Automotive Finance team, IT&S and other internal business units to both develop and manage the required changes associated with system maintenance and enhancements.
  • Perform project coordination activities like taking meetings minutes, organizing meetings with different stakeholders and managing project documentation.
  • Preparation and presentation of the project initiation documentation, development of customers\' and internal partners\' communication strategies as well as drafting requirements, process flows and SOPs.
  • Carry out daily routine administrative activities and provide office support on office related projects and assignments for the Automotive Finance team
  • Champions a high-performance environment and implements a people strategy that attracts, retains, develops and motivates their team by fostering an inclusive work environment; communicating vison/values/business strategy and managing succession and development planning for the team
  • Creates an environment in which his/her team pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational risk, regulatory compliance risk, AML/ATF risk and conduct risk, including but not limited to responsibilities under the Operational Risk Management Framework, Regulatory Compliance Risk Management Framework, AML/ATF Global Handbook and the Guidelines for Business Conduct.
Education / Experience / Other Information
  • University degree
  • 5+ years of experience in web based portals or technology-related roles;
  • Previous experience in managing cross functional project teams;
  • Demonstrated success in project management and exposure to Agile methodologies;
  • Previous channel or business line experience an asset.

Working Conditions
  • Work in a standard office-based environment; non-standard hours are a common occurrence. Limited travel domestically
