IT proudly provides the computer systems, security, IT services and governance that support AGLC's businesses, including the operation & support of mission critical gaming, liquor and corporate systems running on a variety of computing platforms. IT ensures the stability and performance of a Local/Wide Area Network, which supports over 1,200 gaming locations and more than 2,000 computers/tablets, 150 physical and 2,000 virtual servers distributed across six corporate offices, casinos, RECs and bingo halls. IT provides leadership in the use of information technology, data and systems to help the AGLC achieve business goals and objectives.

Salary: $73,089.83 - $100,355.99

Responsibilities:

• Function as a bridge between IT and business to analyze and translate complex requirements into functional specifications.
• Collaborate with Project and Business Managers to manage the analysis, design, development, and testing of software deliverables.
• Document and execute a new process map repository initiative.
• Identify and analyze business requirements for small to medium size projects, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
• Research, review, and evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of existing requirements, making recommendations for improvements.
• Develop test plans and assist with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) processes.
• Manage and communicate changes, enhancements, and modifications throughout the project lifecycle to key stakeholders within IT and the business area.
• Provide seamless service in both face-to-face and online environments.



Requirements:

• Strong problem solving and analytical skills with systematic, disciplined approach.
• Experience facilitating workshops with various stakeholder groups, analyzing information, and identifying risks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong people skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Awareness of IT policies, procedures, and methodologies to achieve business and organizational objectives.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
------------------------

• Minimum of a Degree in a computer science or related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
• Minimum 2 years of Business Analyst experience with a focus on I.T. related projects.
• Experience facilitating workshops, User Acceptance Testing, and leading BA initiatives.
• Highly proficient with Microsoft Tools and Requirement Management Tracking tool





The following would be considered an asset:

• Business Analysis certification from a recognized institution
• Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP)
• PMI Professional in Business Analysis (PMI-PBA)
• IT governance frameworks (e.g. ITIL, COBIT)
• Experience with Capability-based planning, SharePoint, process re-engineering, process map development and elicitation.
• IT governance frameworks (e.g. ITIL, COBIT)
• Lean Six Sigma certification
