Job Description

The Busser plays an essential role in providing guests with an excellent dining experience by ensuring tables and dining areas are clean, organized, and properly set at all times. This position supports the servers and hosts to maintain smooth restaurant operations and a welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities



Clear and reset tables quickly and efficiently between guests. Wipe down chairs, tables, and menus; replace linens, utensils, and glassware as needed. Assist servers in delivering water, bread, or condiments to tables. Keep service stations stocked with clean dishes, napkins, cutlery, and supplies. Remove used dishes, glassware, and utensils from tables and transport them to the dishwashing area. Maintain cleanliness in dining areas, hallways, and service stations. Support the waitstaff and management team during busy periods. Follow all safety, sanitation, and hygiene procedures. Provide courteous and professional assistance to guests when needed.

Qualifications



Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is an asset but not required. Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Strong attention to detail and time management skills. Good communication and teamwork abilities. Physically able to stand, walk, and carry trays or dish racks for extended periods.

Schedule & Compensation



Shifts may include evenings, weekends, and holidays. Compensation based on experience, plus potential for tips or service charge share.

L'aide-serveur(se) joue un role essentiel dans l'experience des clients en veillant a ce que les tables et les aires de restauration soient toujours propres, bien organisees et pretes a accueillir les invites. Cette personne soutient l'equipe de service et contribue au bon deroulement des operations du restaurant.

Principales responsabilites



Debarrasser et remettre les tables en place rapidement et efficacement entre chaque service. Nettoyer les tables, les chaises et les menus ; remplacer les nappes, couverts et verres au besoin. Aider les serveurs a apporter l'eau, le pain ou les condiments aux tables. Maintenir les postes de service bien approvisionnes en vaisselle propre, serviettes et ustensiles. Transporter la vaisselle sale, les verres et les ustensiles vers la plonge. Assurer la proprete des aires de restauration, des couloirs et des postes de service. Offrir un soutien a l'equipe de salle et a la direction pendant les periodes achalandees. Respecter les normes de securite, d'hygiene et de salubrite. Fournir un service courtois et professionnel aux clients lorsque necessaire.

Qualifications



Une experience anterieure en restauration ou en hotellerie est un atout, mais non obligatoire. Capacite a travailler dans un environnement dynamique et axe sur le travail d'equipe. Excellente attention aux details et bonne gestion du temps. Bonnes aptitudes en communication et esprit d'equipe. Capacite physique a rester debout, marcher et transporter des plateaux ou bacs pendant de longues periodes.

Horaire et remuneration



Horaires variables incluant soirs, fins de semaine et jours feries. Salaire selon l'experience, avec possibilite de pourboires ou de partage du service.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $12.90-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 15 per week
