Elk Island Public Schools (EIPS) is one of the largest school divisions in Alberta, serving the education needs of approximately 17,950 students in 42 schools. EIPS is recruiting a temporary part-time Bus Monitor (SouthPointe School, Fort Saskatchewan) with our Student Transportation department.
Our Student Transportation department transports over 9,000 students, operates 163 buses, and over 500 bus routes on a daily basis. Students are transported directly or through transfer sites throughout the school division. Student Transportation department is located at our Central Office.
Commencing September 9, 2025
Ending June 23, 2026
SouthPointe School, Fort Saskatchewan
Hours of work are Monday to Friday, mornings from 7:40 am to 8:10 am and afternoons 3:25 pm to 3:55 pm. The days of work are based on the 10-month school calendar. Please note that hours will change to accommodate early dismissal on Wednesdays (one hour earlier).
Daily rate $50.45

Duties and responsibilities will include:
supervising students with bus transfers between locations assisting special needs students making bus transfers
The successful candidate will have:
excellent interpersonal skills and enjoy working with students experience working in or volunteering in a school setting is an asset bus driving experience would be an asset Behavior Management training is an asset
