Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and responsible Bus Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting passengers, including children and seniors, while providing excellent customer service. This role requires strong communication skills and commitment to safety, English communication is a must, bilingual French and English considered an asset but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a bus according to established routes and schedules. Ensure the safety of all passengers during transit. Assist passengers in boarding and disembarking the bus. Educate passengers on safety protocols and proper behavior while on the bus. Maintain a clean and orderly bus environment. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure mechanical safety. Communicate effectively with passengers, addressing any questions or concerns. Provide exceptional customer service by being courteous and helpful at all times.

Experience

Valid commercial driving license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements (class1E or class2E) Experience driving large commercial vehicles required Bilingual abilities, especially in French, are a plus. Strong mechanical knowledge to assist with basic vehicle maintenance. Previous experience in customer service is beneficial. Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing.
