Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable Bus Driver to join our transportation team for the start of the next school year Aug 2025 - June 2026.
The Bus Driver will be responsible for safely transporting students.
Qualifications:
- Class 2 or Class 1 license with an "S" endorsement
- Emergency First Aid
(Training may be provided for the ideal candidate)
- Clear criminal record check
- Clear intervention record check
- 10-year drivers license abstract
- Reside in Leduc, AB or surrounding area
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the bus is inspected daily and clean
- Safely operate the bus following all traffic regulations and company policies
- Maintain the accuracy of routes, schedules, logs, and inspection reports
- Adhere to safety procedures transporting, loading and unloading students
- Educate students on bus safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with students and colleagues
Experience:
The ideal candidate may have:
- Prior experience as a Bus Driver or Commercial Driver
- Experience working with children
