Job Description

Responsibilities

Operate buses to transport passengers

Provide sightseeing information

Provide passengers with information on fares, schedules and stops

Report delays, mechanical problems and accidents

Load and unload the vehicle

Direct passengers during emergency evacuation procedures

Ensure passengers aboard the vehicle are safe

Deal with difficult passengers and resolve conflicts

Ensure passengers' safety when boarding and leaving buses and crossing the street while the bus is stopped

Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of vehicle

Work Experience

5 years or more

Credentials

Class 2/2F/C Licence (buses with more than 25 passengers)or

Class 4/4F/F/4A-B-C Licence (ambulances, emergency vehicles and buses with fewer than 24 passengers)

Valid driver's licence ( Driving a vehicle with more than 20 passengers)

Class 2/2F/C Licence (buses with more than passengers) Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks and other 2-axle vehicles) Air Brake (Z) Endorsement First Aid Certificate
