sick days, holidays, and time off

reliable weekly work every Tuesday and Thursday
, driving the
Health Connections bus
that helps residents get to important medical appointments. If you enjoy community-focused work, this role offers stability, purpose, and flexibility.

What You'll Do
Safely transport passengers on the Health Connections route every Tuesday & Thursday
Provide additional relief coverage as needed (sick days, holidays, LOAs)
Assist passengers with boarding, exiting, and securing mobility aids
Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections in accordance with provincial legislation
Operate two-way radio communication and handle fares accurately
Maintain vehicle cleanliness and fuel/wash as required
Create a welcoming, safe, and respectful environment for all passengers
Report any operational concerns, incidents, or mechanical issues promptly
What We're Looking For
Candidates willing to work on-call and relief schedules.
Ideal for: Self-employed/freelance workers and Retirees who want casual work.
Valid Class 4 Driver's License (minimum)
Clean Driver's Abstract
Ability to pass a Criminal Record Check and Drug & Alcohol testing
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to work independently and interact politely with the public
Physically able to perform all job duties
Bonus Points If You Have
Previous shuttle, taxi, or transit driving experience
Class 1 or 2Q license is an asset
