Overview

We are seeking a reliable and professional Class 4 Driver to safely transport Children aged 5 - 12 with designated routes. This role requires a dedicated individual with excellent communication skills, a strong focus on safety.

The ideal candidate will have experience with Children and a level 1, 2 or 3 in early childhood education.

This position offers an opportunity to serve the community while ensuring safe and timely transportation.

Responsibilities

Safely operate commercial buses along assigned routes, adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations Assist children with boarding. Maintain a clean and well-maintained vehicle, performing routine inspections and reporting mechanical issues promptly. Follow schedules precisely to ensure timely arrivals and departures Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members regarding route updates or delays Uphold safety protocols at all times, including proper use of safety equipment and adherence to company policies Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, and passenger counts as required

Skills

Experience working with children. Excellent communication skills. Knowledge of mechanical systems related to vehicle maintenance is beneficial Ability to operate vehicles safely under various conditions and handle emergency situations calmly Good writing skills for completing reports or documentation as needed Valid Class 4 driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements required for operation of passenger buses.

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
