Business Application Ownership and Management at TD is part of an enterprise-wide data and analytics ecosystem. We strive to be the better bank, and in this role, we\'ll count on you to be our interface between business and technology.

We\'re looking for highly analytical, collaborative and agile professionals who can merge and translate data to build business momentum and deliver results.

Using professional and experiential knowledge, the Business Application Ownership and Management team works in close partnership with corporate functions and technology, as well as aligns to project management, business analysis, business management, strategy and governance.

Job Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree or technical certificate
  • Three (3) or more years relevant experience
  • Advanced knowledge of business-supported applications, PDLC methodology
  • Knowledge of function policies, procedures and practices as well as competitor and market trends with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Expertise in using analytical software tools, MS Office, data analysis methods and reporting techniques
  • Proficient to work multi-functionally and independently, communicate (both speaking and writing), follow instructions/direction and help building positive relationships across teams and functions

About this Role

Are you a conceptual and analytical thinker, at ease working on your own or together with a team? In this professional role you will provide specialized business application management guidance and support for a designated functional area. You\'ll be responsible for gathering requirements related with the application lifecycle, business testing and process documentation as well as end-user support of the business applications.

As a Business Application Analyst III, you will:
  • Bring advanced knowledge of applications management, supported by your team, including system components, functionality, interfaces, data flows and business rules
  • Provide functional business application management program support within an area of specialty
  • Intake of projects and major initiatives; may provide project management support
  • Act as a decision-maker on project components time to time for getting Subject Matter Expert inputs to make decisions
  • Document all business-owned artifacts that are required for projects and major initiatives under the Bank\'s Project Delivery Lifecycle (PDLC) methodology
  • Provide day-to-day operations process management to ensure delivery according to service level agreements; provide support on deployment and change management initiatives related to owned and managed applications
  • Identify and recommend workflow enhancements, process improvement, automation
  • Be responsible for all Business Acceptance Test (BAT) documentation, working closely with Test Lead, adhering to PDLC and TD\'s Data Governance Framework
  • Establish partnership with Technology to review, discuss and ensure all business requirements are met
  • Raise issues, provide feedback and keep team informed and up to date about project status
