Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Bulk Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will operate various types of trucks, including tractor-trailers, tanker trucks, flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks, to deliver bulk materials efficiently and safely. This role requires a strong focus on safety, route management, and timely deliveries to ensure customer satisfaction and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

Safely operate commercial trucks with manual transmission across designated routes. Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts when necessary. Transport bulk materials via different truck types including tanker, flatbed, refrigerated trailer, dump truck, and roll-off truck. Manage route driving schedules efficiently to meet delivery deadlines. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations. Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs. Follow all safety protocols related to driving, loading/unloading cargo, and vehicle maintenance. Assist in securing loads properly to prevent shifting or damage during transit.

Skills

Proven experience in truck driving with a focus on commercial driving standards. Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles confidently. Experience with various truck types such as tanker, flatbed, refrigerated trailer, dump truck, and roll-off truck preferred. Knowledge of freight handling, load & unload procedures, and route planning. Familiarity with forklift operation is a plus. Strong driving skills with a clean driving record. Excellent attention to safety protocols and regulatory compliance. Good communication skills for coordinating with dispatch and clients. Ability to manage time effectively and work independently on route driving assignments.
