WestPier Dartmouth is currently looking to hire a Bulk Delivery Driver for our Shell Lubricants Division. This position will be a key role in WestPier\'s day to day operations and requires constant interaction with customers, suppliers, and a variety of WestPier team members. Responsibilities:
- Complete deliveries in a professional and efficient manner while providing excellent customer service at all times.
- Deliver a variety of products on skids, individual boxes and bulk lubricants.
- Operate various equipment including tractor trailer and straight truck.
- Maintain electronic and manual logs daily.
- Maintain vehicle and all equipment in good working order.
- Safely handle, load/unload, deliver and transport all products.
- Preform all pre-trip and post-trip inspections and paperwork.
- Assist all other WestPier divisions and team members as needed to complete the common goal of servicing our customers.
- Ensure all aspects of day to day operations comply with applicable safety policies and regulations.
- Grade 12 education or equivalent.
- Must be physically fit and able to work extended hours.
- Ability to lift / carry / push / pull up to 45 lbs.
- Ability to stand, sit, bend, lift, twist, and climb.
- Class 1 license required.
- Commercial driving experience and a clean driver`s abstract an asset.
- Experience using handheld electronic devices an asset
- Customer service experience an asset.
- Fork-lift experience an asset.
- Experience using power lift-gates to deliver skids an asset.
