The Role
The Bulk Delivery Driver is responsible for the safe, efficient, and timely delivery of products and commodities to customers and between company operational facilities.
Primary Roles and Responsibilities
Deliveries and pickups as assigned
Work with Sales Coordinators to support customer service, route planning and delivery times
Maintain contact with Sales Coordinators to receive instructions and/or be dispatched to another location
Yard duties as assigned
Comply with the Canadian Transportation Act and all applicable regulations
Maintain a clean working environment
Load and unload products
Conduct routine truck inspections (pre/post trip) and maintain accurate records of deliveries using GPS-linked software
Maintain high safety standards and awareness
Knowledge about Nutrisource, Dairytech, and Bullseye product lines and services
Other duties as required
Skills & Experience Required
Good verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Positive attitude and a professional demeanor
Qualifications include
Valid Class 1 driver's license
Clean drivers abstract, must be completed annually
WHMIS
Physically fit and able to lift 75 lbs.
2 or more years' experience in driving a tractor-trailer
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
Walking, sitting, standing, and driving to and from company operational facilities and customer locations
Stair climbing and lifting (up to 75lbs)
Working outdoors in all weather conditions; overtime hours as assigned
