Job Summary

The Building Superintendent is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations and maintenance of the facility. This role requires a proactive leader with strong management skills and a solid background in building cleaning & superintendent. The ideal candidate will ensure that all systems, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing, are functioning efficiently while maintaining a safe and compliant environment.

Duties

Manage and sometimes supervise the trades to ensure effective operations and high-quality service delivery. Oversee project management tasks related to facility upgrades, repairs, and maintenance initiatives. Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders, inventory, and equipment performance. Conduct regular inspections of the building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and safety equipment to ensure compliance with regulations. Maintain records of maintenance activities and prepare reports for management review. Collaborate with external contractors for specialized projects or repairs as needed.

Requirements

Proven experience in management or supervisory roles within building management. Strong management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Some mechanical knowledge Proficient in English with excellent communication skills for effective team leadership and collaboration. A commitment to safety standards and best practices in facility management is required.
