Job Summary

Lindenholm Ministries Inc. is seeking a dependable and capable

Building Services Supervisor

to oversee day-to-day operations a it's

55+ residential community

.

This is a

hands-on supervisory role

that combines leadership responsibilities with active daytime maintenance, pool testing, snow removal, and grounds work. The role also includes coordinating contractors, supervising part-time staff, and ensuring buildings remain safe, clean, and well-maintained.

This position is ideal for someone with experience in

facilities, caretaking, or property operations

who enjoys working independently, supervising others, and keeping buildings running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

Day-to-Day Operations

Conduct routine building inspections and safety checks Complete minor repairs and routine maintenance Maintain logs, checklists, and compliance records Ensure all work meets health and safety standards

Pool & Seasonal Duties

Complete pool and hot tub testing and maintenance (training provided) Coordinate and perform snow and ice removal as required (winter) Perform grounds maintenance and grass cutting (spring/summer/fall) Monitor entrances, sidewalks, and walkways to ensure safe access

Staff Supervision

Schedule and supervise part-time evening and weekend staff Provide clear direction and follow-up on assigned duties Ensure daily and weekly task completion

Maintenance Coordination

Respond to and track maintenance requests Coordinate and supervise contractors and trades Obtain quotes for maintenance work Order maintenance supplies and manage inventory

Additional Responsibilities

Willingness to respond to the

occasional after-hours emergency call

(infrequent)

Qualifications

Experience in building maintenance, caretaking, facilities, or property operations Comfortable supervising and coordinating staff Physically capable of cleaning, snow removal, and grounds work Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills Able to work independently and follow established procedures Willing to complete a

3-day pool operator certification course

(provided) Professional and respectful communication style Criminal background and vulnerable sector check will be required

Compensation & Benefits
