We operate the wholesale distribution of beverage alcohol and non-medical cannabis within the province, as well as the household retail brands of BC Liquor Stores and BC Cannabis Stores. Corporate Operations at the BCLDB includes our Corporate Loss Prevention, Construction and Facilities and Leasing departments. Construction and Facilities department manages all activities related to the construction, renovation, and facilities management of all new and existing LDB facilities, included head office, distribution centres, and all BC Liquor and BC Cannabis retail locations. The Leasing department manages all activities related to leasing of all new and existing LDB facilities, included head office, distribution centres, and all BC Liquor and BC Cannabis retail locations. The Corporate Loss Prevention department ensures the security of all BCLDB assets through physical security management as well as an investigative team. Under the direction of the Manager, Physical Security (DDC), the Building Security Officer ensures compliance with all policies and procedures related to security and safety at the Branch Head Office, government liquor stores and distribution centres. This role provides security advice to store managers and employees throughout the province, operates a central alarm monitoring system which provides support to Branch facilities throughout the province, and provides security support and the safeguarding of all Branch assets, employees, contractors, customers, and business partners.

• There are 3 Auxiliary level positions available: 2 positions in our Delta Location and 1 position in our Richmond location.
• These are Auxiliary positions and as such shifts are not guaranteed.
• Current work shifts available in Richmond: Day & Afternoon shift on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
• Current work shifts available in Delta: Sunday night shift.
• Candidates must be able to work 2 days per week. Afternoon and night shifts receive shift premiums.
• Uniforms are supplied.
• Candidates must be physically able to manually open and close by pushing/pulling heavy gates (approx. 500 lbs. on a roller) in the event of a power failure.
• Candidates must be physically able to perform foot patrols of the building and its premises on an hourly rotational basis.
