Your Key Responsibilities
Performs project contract drawing reviews (drawings, specifications, shop drawings, material submittals, change orders, RFIs, etc.)
Attends construction meetings and document discussions
Performs periodic site visits and utilizes a site visit reporting system to identify and update action items
Performs field testing to confirm building enclosure performance (water, air leakage, infrared testing, etc.)
Assists in project management and coordination
Assists in building condition assessments, reserve fund studies, and building envelope rehabilitation, and new construction projects
Participates in continuing education
Your Capabilities and Credentials
Organizational skills with the ability to effectively prioritize tasks on multiple projects
Ability to work in a team environment
Excellent communication and written skills in English
Professional attitude with a strong commitment to succeed
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
Must have a valid driver's license
Education and Experience
Working towards Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering
Knowledge of Building Science principles (heat transfer, vapour diffusion, material compatibilities), construction methods, or Building Envelope components is a plus
Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather.

Pay Transparency: In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible.
