Building Scanning Technician

Job Description
We\'re looking for candidates in the Greater Toronto Area for an exciting, full-time position with our progressive company. As a Building Survey Technician, your job is to map/survey buildings using cutting-edge, laser scanning technology. While most of your assignments are located in the GTA, they could be anywhere in North America. Travel is an essential part of the job. Our ideal candidate:
- has experience with laser scanners and scan registration workflows
- has experience in architecture, engineering, and/or surveying
- is skilled with computers, software, and technology in general
- has their own car and a valid drivers license
- enjoys fieldwork and travelling
- enjoys working independently
- can cross the US / Canada border easily
- is able to carry and manage equipment weighing up to 60lbs
- full-time salary
- per kilometer compensation for car expenses
- per-diem for travel days / overnights
- extended health insurance benefits
- Extended health care
- 8 hour shift
