to join our property management team. Reporting to the Senior Property Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day operation, maintenance, and repair of building systems across our commercial portfolio, ensuring optimal performance and tenant satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Building Operations & Maintenance
Perform daily inspections and preventative maintenance on building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire safety, and mechanical equipment.
Monitor and maintain building automation systems (BAS).
Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities.
Support energy efficiency initiatives and identify opportunities for cost savings.
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
Travel to and operate across multiple sites within the portfolio.
Tenant & Property Management Support
Work closely with the Senior Property Manager to support day-to-day operations and tenant relations.
Respond to tenant service requests promptly and professionally.
Contractor & Vendor Management
Coordinate and oversee contractors and service providers.
Obtain pricing and quotes for repairs, parts, and services; assist with procurement and vendor coordination.
Experience and Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Building Operator in commercial Real Estate (office/industrial).
Valid Building Operator Certification (BOMI, SMT, 4th Class Power Engineer, or equivalent) preferred.
Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to be on-call for after-hours emergencies.

Pay: $70,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
