Job Description

We are looking for a certified Building Operator for a commercial building in downtown Vancouver. As the Building Operator your goal will be to support a portfolio of commercial real estate properties under management, in building tenant relations, maintaining the facilities, and making sure the building quality is held to the highest of standards.ABOUT THE POSITIONThe Operator will be responsible for:\xc2\xb7Operate and maintain heating, ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC) systems including boilers, chillers, and related equipment.\xc2\xb7Respond to tenant inquiries/requests in a professional and timely manner.\xc2\xb7Conduct daily inspections of the building exterior and interior.\xc2\xb7Perform routine maintenance and preventative maintenance.\xc2\xb7Perform adjustments and minor repairs on doors, flushometers, lights, ceiling tiles, etc.\xc2\xb7Assist with inspections related to fire systems, boilers/chillers, generator, building inspections, etc.THE REQUIREMENTS\xc2\xb71-3 years of building operations in commercial/retail buildings.\xc2\xb7Customer service skills, and the ability to communicate professionally.\xc2\xb7Have a TSBC certified 4th class power engineering ticket.COMPENSATION\xc2\xb7Salary: $60,000 \xe2\x80\x93 $85,000\xc2\xb73 weeks vacation\xc2\xb7Extended benefits: dental, vision, pharmacy, and health wellness account.HOW TO APPLYPlease apply directly to this posting with the most recent version of your resume.
