This position is responsible for ensuring that the assigned building is operated and maintained to the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and environmental stewardship.

What You'll Do
Mechanical Systems Management: Install, repair, and maintain climate control systems, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
Building Automation Systems (BAS): Monitor and operate BAS and computerized control systems to optimize building performance.
Preventative Maintenance: Oversee and contribute to our Planned Maintenance Program and Energy Management Program for peak efficiency.
Safety and Compliance: Conduct regular safety inspections, including emergency systems testing and fire alarm verifications.
Interior and Exterior Upkeep: Maintain the aesthetic appeal of residential spaces through general maintenance, ensuring the property reflects our commitment to excellence.
Tenant Support: Respond promptly to tenant service requests, fostering positive relationships and enhancing their living experience.
What You Bring
A high school diploma or equivalent (trade school or technical training preferred).
A 4th or 5th Class Power Engineering certificate and ABSA certification.
Relevant certifications in HVAC/R or mechanical systems maintenance.
Solid knowledge of building systems and experience with BAS and computerized control systems.
Strong problem-solving and organizational skills, with a keen attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
The physical ability to perform manual tasks, lift heavy equipment, and work outdoors in various conditions.
