As a Building Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring our residential communities are well-maintained, safe, and welcoming for tenants. two types of Building Manager positions

:


Resident Building Managers

live on-site and are typically responsible for day-to-day tenant interactions and building oversight.

Non-Resident Building Managers

oversee one or more properties and may travel between locations to ensure operational excellence.

Responsibilities




Oversee the daily operations of the building, ensuring it is safe, clean, and well-maintained. Act as the primary point of contact for tenants, providing exceptional customer service and addressing concerns promptly. Conduct routine inspections of suites, common areas, and building systems, coordinating repairs as needed. Manage contractors and vendors for maintenance, cleaning, and specialized repairs. Assist with move-ins, move-outs, and tenant communications. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, tenant interactions, and building compliance. Ensure adherence to the BC Residential Tenancy Act, Fire Code, and Occupational Health and Safety Act. Support property marketing efforts by keeping suites show-ready and assisting prospective tenants as required.

What You Bring




Prior experience as a Building Manager, Property Manager, or in a related residential operations role. Strong maintenance and problem-solving skills, with the ability to coordinate contractors effectively. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, property management software, and recordkeeping systems. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Strong organizational abilities and the capacity to manage multiple priorities. A proactive, team-oriented approach with flexibility to work varying hours as needed. Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.

Salary:

$50,000-70,000/year

(Based on portfolio: Including building and unit count)
