The infrastructure engineering group is currently looking for a building electrical supervisor for its Montreal or Laval office to support the growth of the team already in place.

The infrastructure engineering group specializes in the institutional, commercial and light industrial sector and has acquired over the years a reputation for excellence in this field. The selected candidates will have the opportunity to work in a highly qualified technical team and will be able to use their knowledge and know-how on important projects.

What will your contribution to the team be?

• Attend site meetings;
• Manage, coordinate and resolve issues raised on site;
• Communicate with the various stakeholders, in particular the client;
• Ensure the link between the Design team and the Construction teams;
• Interpret contractual documents;
• Issue and follow up on site directives;
• Supervise the work, carry out inspections and prepare progress reports;
• Supervise the commissioning of electromechanical systems;
• Validate contractors' payment requests;
• Negotiate amendments;
• Ensure the smooth running of construction sites;

What are we looking for?

• Bachelor of Electrical Engineering
• Have a minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in the field of building electricity;
• Have a good knowledge of the institutional environment;
• Knowledge of Autocad software, an asset;
• Fluency in French (read, write, speak) English, an asset.
