To provide support to the Building Division with daily tasks.
Responsibilities/Duties:
Assisting with building permit application intake, general customer inquiries, and providing assistance to the Plans Review team and Inspectors as required.
Assisting with various administrative functions.
Knowledge/Skills Required:
Must have general knowledge of the Ontario Building Code, Building Code Act and Municipal By-laws.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
Must demonstrate safe work practices.

Ability to travel between County offices and facilities as required

Education:
Enrolled in a post-secondary school for Architectural or Construction Engineering Technology or a related field.
Duration:
May to August (35 hours/week)
Hourly Rate:
$22.54 (2025)
