Position Summary:

We are currently looking for a BAS Software Application Designer to join our growing team based out of Winnipeg, MB. As a BAS Software Application Designer you will be involved in the the preparation of controls system graphics, programming and software submittals. This position requires a good working knowledge of local area networking, and understanding of HVAC equipment sequencing, and graphical block programming.

Responsibilities:

• Total customer satisfaction, internal and external
• Assist in delivering BAS solutions to our customer base through pre-engineered building automation control systems.
• Assist with pre-engineering field and global controllers and preparing field commissioning documentation for the field technicians to use for start up and commissioning of a variety of Building Automation Systems.
• Understand fundamentals of how HVAC systems operate on commercial buildings.
• Work with and understand HVAC and Digital Control fundamentals
• Demonstrate working knowledge of BAS Networking and Building System Integration.

Qualifications:

• Understand and have knowledge of building mechanical/electrical systems and equipment, typical building control system sensors and devices
• Graduate of Post-Secondary technical or engineering program.
• Focused and detail orientated
• Able to work independently and manage time effectively
• Fluent in English - both written and oral.
• The ability to read and understand construction plans and specs and product documentation.
• Fluent in Microsoft Office.
• Resourceful, problem-solver that is energetic and able to manage multiple priorities
