Job type: Full-time& Permanent

Main duties:

Plan, organize, and oversee all operations of a renovation company, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Prepare competitive bids and detailed proposals for construction and renovation projects.

Collaborate with clients, architects, and engineers to review plans, specifications, and design requirements.

Recruit, hire, and supervise trade subcontractors for specialized tasks such as plumbing, heating, and electrical work.

Develop work schedules and coordinate the activities of subcontractors to maintain efficient project flow.

Inspect completed work to verify quality standards and ensure compliance with plans and specifications.

Maintain an up-to-date directory of suppliers and trade subcontractors for future projects.

Design and execute marketing and advertising strategies to promote the company's products and services.

When necessary, perform hands-on carpentry or other skilled trade work during construction or renovation projects.

physical Requirements:

Physically capable of being able to stand, walk, bend, and use hands and appliances.

Able to lift, carry or handle heavy objects (40-50lbs+)

Required Education:

High school or equivalent

Qualifications:

At least 10 years of experience in cooperative interior design

Project manager qualification or proven experience as a project manager

Extensive experience in the construction industry, including experience as a general supervisor, is usually required for self-employment as a builder or a renovator.

Leading in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification may be an asset in bidding on and obtaining building and renovation projects.

Salary:

$40.00-$45.00 per hour (to be negotiated) for 35 hours a week, 52 weeks a year
