Job Overview

We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-oriented Marijuana Budtender to join our team. As a Budtender, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to our customers while assisting them in selecting the right cannabis products for their needs. You will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, educating customers about various strains and products, and ensuring compliance with all regulations.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and provide assistance in navigating the product selection process. Educate customers on different cannabis strains, consumption methods, and product effects. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently to process transactions accurately. Engage in upselling techniques to enhance customer experience and maximize sales. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dispensary, including product displays. Handle heavy lifting of products as necessary while ensuring safety protocols are followed. Manage time effectively to ensure all customers receive timely service during busy periods. Assist with inventory management, including restocking shelves and tracking product availability. Comply with all local and state regulations regarding cannabis sales and customer interactions.

Qualifications

Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering preferred. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Ability to lift heavy items as required by the position. Multilingual or bilingual skills are a plus, particularly in English and Spanish or other languages. Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence. Knowledge of cannabis products is beneficial but not mandatory; training will be provided. A passion for the cannabis industry and a commitment to staying informed about new products and trends.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
