In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to customers while assisting them in selecting the right cannabis products for their needs. Responsibilities
Greet customers warmly and provide assistance in navigating product selections based on their preferences and needs.
Educate customers about various cannabis strains, products, and consumption methods.
Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently while handling cash transactions accurately.
Maintain a clean and organized sales area, ensuring all products are displayed properly.
Assist with inventory management, including receiving shipments and restocking shelves.
Uphold compliance with all state regulations regarding the sale of cannabis products.
Engage with customers to build relationships and encourage repeat business.
Perform heavy lifting as needed when managing inventory or setting up displays.
Qualifications
Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred.
Familiarity with POS systems and basic math skills for accurate cash handling.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
Leadership qualities to guide less experienced staff when necessary.
Basic computer operation skills for record keeping and inventory management.
Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the role.
A passion for the cannabis industry and a desire to stay informed about new products and trends.
