We are seeking a knowledgeable and personable Budtender to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service, educate clients on product options, and assist with sales in a fast-paced retail environment. This role requires a strong understanding of cannabis products, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with diverse customers.

Duties

Greet customers warmly and assess their needs to recommend suitable cannabis products Educate customers on product effects, strains, and consumption methods to ensure informed purchasing decisions Operate POS systems accurately for cash handling and sales transactions Upsell products and promote new or featured items to maximize sales opportunities Maintain organized merchandising displays and ensure product availability Manage inventory levels, restocking, and assist with stock rotation Ensure compliance with all legal regulations related to cannabis sales and store policies Handle cash register operations, including cashiering duties and basic math calculations Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive shopping experience

Skills

Strong communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and basic computer operation skills Experience with retail sales, cashiering, POS systems, and cash handling procedures Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and time management capabilities Knowledge of merchandising principles and effective upselling techniques Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary for stocking or inventory management Customer service-oriented mindset with hospitality experience preferred Leadership qualities for team collaboration and potential supervisory responsibilities Familiarity with basic math for transactions and inventory management
