We are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic cannabis Budtender to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cannabis and a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Budtender, you will assist customers in selecting the right products for their needs, ensuring a positive shopping experience while adhering to all regulations and company policies.
Duties
Greet customers warmly and provide assistance with product selection based on individual preferences and needs.
Educate customers about various cannabis products, including strains, edibles, concentrates, and accessories.
Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for transactions, including cash handling and basic math calculations.
Maintain an organized and clean work environment, including product displays and inventory management.
Assist with merchandising efforts to promote products effectively within the store.
Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a professional manner.
Uphold compliance with all local laws and regulations regarding the sale of cannabis products.
Engage in upselling techniques to enhance customer experience and increase sales.
Skills
Strong communication skills in English.
Experience in retail sales with a focus on customer service excellence.
Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures.
Ability to perform heavy lifting as required for inventory management.
Strong ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Must meet all
legal requirements
to work in a cannabis retail environment.
Proficiency in computers, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Canva is an asset.
