Buddy's Place is a group of licensed, independent Cannabis Retail stores budding from the Kootenays of BC.

We are accepting applications for a Budtender position at our Nelson location . The ideal candidate will have customer service experience, an interest in Cannabis, and be available

Weekends

and

Evenings

until 9pm.

Budtending experience is preferred at this time.

The position is for 2-4 days per week, primarily weekends & evenings, with opportunities to advance to full-time.

Our objective is to be the Kootenay's destination for Cannabis culture, and Nelson's friendly local pot-shop. We are seeking retail staff who can deliver excellent service to our loyal clientele.

Job Requirements:

-Minimum 19+ years of age
-Valid Selling It Right certification
-Thrive in a high volume, high level of care retail environment
-Adherence to Provincial & Federal Cannabis regulations

-Passion for Cannabis culture, and desire to be a part of the industry
-Trustworthy
-Friendly attitude & ability to work as a team

-Available to work a variety of shifts,

including Evenings and Weekends

-Seeking long-term oriented candidates

-Have residency in Nelson or the surrounding area.

Job duties:

-Assist customers in selecting suitable Cannabis products, and make helpful recommendations.

-Contribute to a pleasant and organized environment;

-Operate POS System, Retail software, Ipad, conduct cash transactions.

-Stay up-to-date on on industry knowledge & regulations

-Other duties as required.
