Job Overview

We are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Budtender to join our team. As a Budtender, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service while assisting customers in selecting the right cannabis products for their needs. You will be responsible for maintaining product knowledge, ensuring compliance with regulations, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our clientele.

Duties

Greet customers and provide exceptional service by understanding their needs and preferences. Educate customers about various cannabis products, including strains, edibles, and concentrates. Assist customers in making informed decisions through effective communication and upselling techniques. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system for transactions, including cash handling and cashiering duties. Maintain an organized and clean display of products through effective merchandising practices. Ensure compliance with all state regulations regarding the sale of cannabis products. Perform heavy lifting as required to restock inventory and manage product displays. Utilize Google Drive for inventory tracking and reporting purposes. Manage time effectively to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently during shifts.

Requirements

Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred. Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities in French or other languages are a plus. Proficiency in computer operation, including Microsoft Office and Google applications. Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory management. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong organizational skills to manage inventory and product displays effectively. Experience with hospitality or leadership roles is advantageous. Must be able to perform heavy lifting as part of daily responsibilities.
