BUDTENDER JOB POSTING Located in Paris, Ontario, Chillin\xe2\x80\x99 Buds Inc. has an exciting opportunity for new and upcoming Budtender to learn all about cannabis and work in a fun, welcoming environment. Budtenders are synonymous with the position of Retail Sales Associates. Our goals include delivering exceptional customer service amongst our passionate team of Buds and building a sense of family spirit amongst our customers. ROLE OF BUDTENDER Reporting to the Assistant Manager, the Budtender will be responsible for ensuring an informed, comfortable and welcome experience for all customers. Budtenders are representations of the service and core values of Chillin\xe2\x80\x99 Buds - all applicants should be passionate about providing exceptional service and learning about the cannabis products. Budtenders will be expected to adhere to all Chillin\xe2\x80\x99 Buds Cannabis policies and procedures, successful completion of training modules, as well as adhere to government regulations. SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES

• Demonstrate exceptional customer service skills, responding to inquiries and assisting customers with product information, and safe use of products
• Ability to adhere to training modules and policies and procedures set out by Chillin\xe2\x80\x99 Buds Inc.
• Understands legislation regarding legal cannabis sales and proper ID checking
• Full comprehension of cannabis types and safe cannabis practices, providing information to consumers when required and instructing on how to consume responsibly
• Performing housekeeping duties, maintaining store appearance and adhere to security policies and procedures
• Relaying issues, complaints or customer comments to the Management team
• Keeping up to date on new products, changes in regulation and industry trends
• Assist with operations as assigned, including cash handling, cleaning duties and inventory counts

QUALIFICATIONS

• Post-secondary Education (Preferred)
• Minimum 2 years of proven success in building customer relationships and providing exceptional customer service in the retail industry; experience in the cannabis industry is an asset
• Holds a valid CannSell Cannabis Retail Certification (This can be obtained prior to starting employment)
• Knowledge of cannabis and cannabis products is an asset
• Experience with POS systems (preferred but not mandatory. Training will be provided)
• Knowledge of cannabis legislation and regulations as well as proper identification practices is an asset
• Ability to pass a background check and criminal record check
• Superior communication, and interpersonal skills
• Can work evenings, weekends and holidays as required
• Access to reliable transportation is considered an asset
• Must be 19 years of age or older

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Some travel may be required.
• Ability to be flexible with working hours.
• Physical ability to use computers and peripherals is necessary.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Physical ability and health will be necessary in order to perform physical labor tasks required for customer assistance and up-keep of the store.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as sitting, standing, walking, bending, reaching, performing repetitive motions, and carrying boxes.
